The Coach - Paul Arzens

The Coach - Paul Arzens
The Coach is the name given to one of the most atypical French vehicles. It is on display for the first time to the general public at the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris. Built in 1951, the Coach conceals many mysteries. Thanks to the Coach, we rediscover a genius tinkerer and inventor. Sometimes called the Leonardo da Vinci of the 20th century, Paul Arzens revolutionised the codes of art and industrial aesthetics. As early as the 1930s, Paul Arzens was thinking about and designing the transport of the future. Throughout his career, his avant-garde creations were photographed by Robert Doisneau. These works are still astonishing today because of their modernity, as Paul Arzens mastered the language of forms like no other.
