Anders Zorn is a Swedish painter, printmaker and sculptor. Watercolour quickly became his favourite mode of expression, and he was quickly considered a prodigy in his academic environment. He painted many portraits where he expressed his watercolour technique with mastery and precision. Thanks to numerous trips, his inspiration evolved in some of his paintings, especially with representations of the water of the local seas. His originality manifests itself in a work marked by life and atmospheres. He is known for his paintings related to the Swedish countryside, for his portraits and nudes painting as well as his representations of water.
