The Museum of the 1930s

The Museum of the 1930s
The city of Boulogne Billancourt experienced rapid development in the interwar period. Industrialists, filmmakers, architects, painters and sculptors test their creativity there. It is this impetus that the Museum of the 1930s would have liked to transcribe, created a collection of works of art from this period, first constituted by purchases in galleries, flea markets or auction houses, then mainly by donations. More than 1,500 sculptures, 800 paintings, 300 pieces of furniture… A heterogeneous whole, testimony of an era and a place in which the artistic excitement unfolds, and opens the way to a number of creative adventures of the 20th century.
