Amedeo Modigliani

Originally known as a figurative painter, Amedeo Modigliani became famous with his art for his painting and sculptures called modern where face looks like mask and where forms are stretched out. During his career, he was influenced by Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul Cezanne, Picasso, and by the cubism, that allowed him in 1916-1917 to create a famous series including 30 nudes paintings. He usually never modified his painting after making them and they evoke the representation of nudity. However, Modigliani turned to the italiens masters such as Botticelli or Titian.
