Degli Uffizi Gallery

This gallery was built in the 16th century as the seat for Florence’s new administrative offices (uffizi), and opened to the public as the Uffizi Gallery in the 18th century. Today it still offers the world’s most beautiful collection of Italian Renaissance art. How could anyone remain insensitive to the sensual beauty of “The Birth of Venus” by Botticelli, “The Venus of Urbino” by Titian, or Correggio’s “Danae”? Enjoy your visit!
