Since 2013, Ameer Al Halbi has been documenting the horror of the war in his hometown, Aleppo. He who, before the conflict, dreamed of being a professional soccer player has become a freelance photographer. A way to commit himself and to testify of what the population, his relatives and his neighbors undergo. His photos were quickly distributed internationally, notably through AFP, the French news agency.
