Stephen Mangan and Joan Bakewell are back with a brand new series of Landscape Artist of the Year, travelling the country, on the hunt for nation’s best landscape artist. In this third heat 8 artist’s head to the wild and rugged shores of Loch Fyne in Argyle, to hopefully create an artwork that catches the eye of judge’s Tai Shan Schierenberg, Kate Bryan and Kathleen Soriano. The winning artist will go through to the semi-final and get one step closer to claiming the prize, a £10,000 commission to create a painting for The Imperial War Museum to commemorate the centenary of The First World War Armistice. But they're not the only ones vying for the judges’ attention as 50 more artists are competing in each heat to try their luck as a Wildcards. If they succeed, they too stand a chance of reaching semi-final. So with only 4 hours to create a masterpiece, who has what it takes to become Landscape Artist of the Year?
