LACMA, classical collection - Los Angeles, USA

Los Angeles offers visitors prestigious museums where time stands still, where masterpieces remain unchanged. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, called LACMA, is the largest museum in the western United States. In the classical part, the gallery offers an invitation for an artistic journey from the Flemish School and the Italian Renaissance. We can see paintings ranging from the 12th century to the beginning of the 19th century, from the Gothic style to the Renaissance, passing through Italian religious scenes with works by Rubens, Delacroix and Rembrandt, but also the essential American painters of the 19th century such as Benjamin West, Fitz Henri Lane and Jasper Francis Crospey.
