Digital revolution

For each era different tools : today's brushes are digital. The works of art are now interactive, moving, connected or dematerialized, exploring new sensory dimensions. These last years, “classical” arts and countercultures have known many revolutions. This series is dedicated to this “Digital revolution”, this new art, created thanks to new technologies in the hands of daring artists, inventors and activists. Every winter, several million visitors roam the streets of Lyon during the "Fête des Lumières", thus becoming one of the greatest festive gatherings in the world. For a few days, the whole city animates and illuminates under the fire of spectacular video projections. Inspired by this success, many cities have their own sound and light shows. Many artists have seized this technology tu use it on unexpected supports, like Joanie Lemercier, Naziha Mestaoui, Nobumichi Asai and Julien Nonnon.
