Seurat
Having lived all his life in Paris, Georges Seurat during its brief existence with determination exceeded the "romantic" of Impressionist painting to develop a pictorial method based on precise scientific laws and revolutionize the very concept of representational art. His approach remains to find a link between art and science. Follower of pointillism, he states that this technique can make the painting more "united" and to bring out the colors and the light more accurately. So he painted his most famous paintings, such as Bathers at Asnieres or a Sunday afternoon in the Island of La Grande Jatte.
