Born in Bern (Switzerland) at the end of the war, the artist Olivier Mosset probably embodies the contradictions of the artistic avant-garde, as they have emerged in Europe and the United States since the 1960s. Having lived and worked in Paris from 1965 to 1977, he then moved to the United States, where he plays, not without a certain detachment, a pivotal role between the two continents.
