The On Art Film Festival will kick off for its twelfth consecutive year, offering an exciting blend of art and film in several beautiful locations all over Poland.

Indeed, the venues include the premises of the National Museum, the Royal Łazienki, the Lodz House of Culture and the Royal Castle. Traditionally, the festival's films are screened in outdoor cinemas across Poland, providing a truly immersive and enchanting experience. However, for those who prefer an indoor setting, select screenings will be held in galleries.

What to expect for this edition

With a curated selection of 67 films, this unique festival creatively showcases the power of cinema in capturing the essence of various art forms.

For the twelfth edition, the festival promises an engaging lineup of films that capture a broad spectrum of themes and artistic forms. Audiences can expect to witness intimate portrayals of professional artists such as Barbra T. Smith, whose works offer a unique perspective on the creative process. Additionally, the festival explores the profound relationship between Tatsumi Orimoto and his mother, who bravely battles Alzheimer's disease.

The festival features a compelling selection of documentary films, video art, and reflective pieces that delve into the struggles and challenges faced by their creators. Through these thought-provoking films, audiences are invited to gain insight into their artistic journey.

A prelude to the On ART - Dans & Music Festival

As a prelude to the upcoming 2nd edition of the On Art - Dance & Music Festival in August in Warsaw, the film festival will also include screenings of films featuring mesmerizing music and captivating dance performances. This addition provides an exciting opportunity for attendees to experience the intersection of different art forms.
