A lover of Tibet and high mountains, painter Qiu Xiaoqiu has made more than twenty journeys across the Tibetan highlands. He brought back striking portraits of nomads wandering through the mineral vastness of the Himalayas. The first Chinese artist to paint animals in their natural habitat, one of his works depicting pandas inspired the world-famous WWF logo.
