What to do this summer in France: The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region opens its cultural doors !

Because culture doesn't stop during the summer, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region is opening its doors to welcome you for more festivities. Exhibitions, museums and concerts - find out all about the events you don't want to miss !

What could be better than a gentle start ? Located at the Pixel centre in Villeurbanne, the immersive exhibition on the painter Van Gogh is a good starting point for a cultural adventure. Offering a timeless break, the colours and shapes of Impressionism permeate the entire space, pushing back walls and time. Settle into deckchairs and let yourself be carried away by the paintings as they pass before your eyes, accompanied by music that plunges you into the heart of the works.

Open to the general public until 28 August 2025, this exhibition is the perfect way to relax and learn at the same time! An immersive exhibition lasting around 60 minutes, it's easy to fit into your day. For more information, visit the city of Lyon website.
