Stanley Greene

Stanley Green was three time winner of the World Press Photo award. A member of the Noor agency, he started with fashion photos before converting to photo-reporting in the 90's. He's covered many conflicts in the world: Sudan, Somalia, Croatia, Georgia and above all Chechnya where he stayed for over 10 years. Stanley Greene's photographs are often unbearable but they arouse a reflection on war and the way it can or cannot be pictured.
