Daniel Buren Monumenta Grand Palais

This documentary reports on the 2012 edition of the Monumenta at the Grand Palais in Paris devoted to Daniel Buren. Interviews with the main interlocutors (Daniel Buren, artist, Patrick Bouchain, architect, Marc Sanchez, curator, Alexandre Meyer, musician, Guy Lelong, critic and writer ...) cross the points of view on this project and enlighten us on the stakes of this work. The film aims to show the hidden face of the exhibition and the human dimension of such an enterprise through the portraits of the people who participated in the editing but also its practice by the public and finally the dialogue between the proposal of Daniel Buren and the various artistic events programmed during the duration of the exhibition.
