Stephen Mangan and Joan Bakewell are back with a brand new series of Landscape Artist of the Year, travelling the country on the hunt for nation\u2019s best landscape artist. <\/p>\n

In this fourth heat 8 artists are tackling the Georgian Water Gardens of Studley Royal Park in North Yorkshire, to create an artwork that catches the eye of judge\u2019s Tai Shan Schierenberg, Kate Bryan and Kathleen Soriano. The winning artist will go through to the semi-final and get one step closer to claiming the prize, a \u00a310,000 commission to create a painting for The Imperial War Museum to commemorate the centenary of The First World War Armistice.<\/p>\n

But they’re not the only ones vying for the judges\u2019 attention as 50 more artists are competing in each heat to try their luck as a Wildcards. If they succeed, they too stand a chance of reaching semi-final.<\/p>\n
