Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell are back with a brand new series of Portrait Artist of the Year 2018 Setting up home at The Wallace Collection in London, amongst one of the finest art collections in Europe they’re on the hunt for a new exciting portrait artist.<\/p>\n

In this first heat 9 new artists attempt to paint actors David Tennant and Michela Coel and musician James Morrison in a bid to impress judges Tai Shan Schierenberg, Kate Bryan and Kathleen Soriano. <\/p>\n

The artist that impresses the most will go through to the semi-final and get one step closer to claiming the prize, a \u00a310,000 commission to paint actress Liverpool-born actress Kim Cattrall for the Walker Galllery in Liverpool. <\/p>\n
