Wa Shan, literally &#8220;tile mountain&#8221;, is a rather unusual guesthouse, built between 2011 and 2013 by Chinese architect Wang Shu. Winding along a river and disappearing in places behind wild vegetation, the guesthouse is set in a landscape of mountains and water. Wang Shu is a great scenographer and is renowned for his commitment to sustainable architecture.
