Berthe Morisot is a French painter who take part in the impressionist movement with Manet or Renoir. She is the niece of Jean Honor\u00e9 Fragonard and the friend of Manet who became his teacher. In 1864 she presented some paintings at the Salon des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Ten years later she was the only woman to take part at the exhibition of the impressionist painters in 1874, the same year she married Manet. Later, she became a founder of the Anonymous society of painters, sculptors and engravers with Monet, Renoir and other artistes of this era. His daughter Julie is very important in the development of her art and she appeared in many of her paintings.
