Part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musee-orangerie.fr\/fr\/articles\/pablo-picasso-105462\"><strong>Picasso<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s work is being showcased in a new location at <strong>16 Rue de Seine in Paris<\/strong>. Known for his prolific work across all media, the exhibition focuses on a slightly overlooked part of his later life: his relationship with Jacqueline. Between the white and red curtains of the exhibition, the subdued atmosphere and the stroll through the different spaces of the gallery, the viewer is immersed in a truly intimate bubble.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h2><strong>From muse to wife<\/strong><\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<p>It is through drawings on canvas or paper that viewers discover Jacqueline, Picasso&#8217;s last wife. With 70% of the works corresponding to this period, the exhibition features portraits, sketches, drafts and partially completed drawings, revealing the importance Jacqueline had in Picasso&#8217;s life. With no particular movement evident, this period is the result of simple creativity in its raw state. To describe this unique relationship between the painter and his model, Marc Lebouc chose the words of <a href=\"https:\/\/imec-archives.com\/archives\/fonds\/139PRM\"><strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Parmelin<\/strong><\/a> in Les Dames de Mougins: <em>\u2018Jacqueline is said to be Picasso&#8217;s model, a posing model. Jacqueline does not pose, but she is always there. She does not pose, she lives&#8230;\u2019.<\/em> These drawings exude an intensely lively presence, immortalising the present moment and captivating the gaze of visitors.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h2>An unpublished work<\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"567\" src=\"https:\/\/www.museumtv.art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-3-1024x567.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-227028\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.museumtv.art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-3-1024x567.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.museumtv.art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-3-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/www.museumtv.art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-3-768x426.png 768w, https:\/\/www.museumtv.art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-3-1536x851.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.museumtv.art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-3.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>While the exhibition honours Jacqueline, it also aims to showcase the artist&#8217;s work from his early days in <strong>1903<\/strong> until <strong>1972<\/strong>. Accessible to all audiences, Marc Lebouc wants to offer a new perspective on these works. <em>\u2018This exhibition is for everyone, especially people who think they know his work but who, I hope, will discover new pieces and lesser-known periods,\u2019<\/em> he says.&#13;\n&#13;\nPicasso, master of the 20th century, still has works to reveal.
