The World's Greatest Painters
Paul KLEE, defined as "painter-poet", is among the most fruitful creators. The colourful architecture and the dazzling light of this Mediterranean country will push him to become a painter, wanting to combine painting and music in his works. Later, he met Robert Delaunay, and discovered the works of Picasso, Braque and Rousseau. Paul Klee was ahead of the surrealists with his visions, his taste for dreams, and the abstracts with his musical backgrounds which are only spots of colour and suggestion of melody.
